One of the duties of the President of this Association is to present an address. The “Officer's Manual” gives some guidance and direction to the President for the purpose of helping him with this assignment. It is suggested that the President's Address may be either a report of the accomplishments of the past year with comments on the work of the several committees or “a general overview of the educational scene or of this in relationship to pharmaceutical education.” The “Officers’ Manual” goes further and intimates that it should be “scholarly and constructive.” In this latter stipulation, the committee responsible for the Manual did not recon with the present incumbent!
