2012 Election Winners

Review of Appointed Committees and Task Forces Nominating Committee (standing)

• • Charge: Develop a slate of nominees.

• • Chair: Chris Bradberry (Creighton)

• • Members: Mary Andritz (Butler), Dennis Hedge (South Dakota), Taylor Palmer (UC San Diego)

• • Status: Slate of nominees is as follows:

• • For COD Chair Elect: David Allen (University of Mississippi) and Raylene Rospond (Drake University)

• • For Secretary: Gayle Brazeau (University of New England) and Jack Reynolds (Northeastern University)

• • For Administrative Board Representative: Jan Engle (University of Illinois at Chicago) and Doug Pisano (Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences)

Resolutions Committee (standing)

• • Charge: Develop resolutions from the COD as needed to come before the HOD at the July 2012 Annual Meeting. Provide a report on any resolutions to the COD Business Meeting in July 2012

• • Chair: Natalie Eddington (Maryland)

• • Members: Tong Theodore (Arizona), Anthony Wutoh (DC)

• • Status: Two resolutions will be introduced by the Taskforce on Healthcare Transformation’s Impact on Pharmacy Education.

Task Forces Appointed

Status: Reports from each Task Force are to be presented at the July 2012 COD Meeting.

Communications

The COD Connection publication has continued this year with issues published in October and June.

COD Administrative Board

The composition of the administrative board includes: R. Lee Evans, Joseph T. DiPiro, J. Chris Bradberry, Susan M. Meyer, Natalie D. Eddington and AACP Staff Liasion, Yuen-Sum (Vince) Lau. The Board convened teleconferences to discuss the business and issue for the Council and plan meetings.
